Organic and healthy products
The production and processing of organic products are inspected by accredited bodies.
The certified organic for the Japanese market, is carried out through the system JAS “Japanese Agricultural Standards” (JAS).
These standards are set out through the Japanese Ministry of agriculture (MAFF).
Organic certification to export agricultural products to the United States is carried out under the standards of the “National Organic Program” (NOP), which is part of the “US Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Organic certification for export to the countries of the European Union is based on the rules of organic production: EU 834/2007 – EU 889/2008, created by the European economic community.
